A big problem many of our families encounter when a child goes in for Heart surgery is the huge financial worry of how will they afford travel costs to and from hospital ,hospital parking charges and the cost of living in hospital .
Some families have short stays but with heart surgery nothing is ever set in stone and things can change from one minute to the next ,some of our families can be in hospital for months on end which can be devastating .
We try to help when possible but to support a family who lives say 40 miles away from their cardiac hospital with travel ,parking and food it costs around £200 a week .
This is why we need your support every penny counts and by helping to support our families in this way its one less thing for them to worry about whilst their child is seriously ill in hospital x
